Available Maine Coon kittens
White Boy with Blue Eyes, Hearing Normal
Age: 10 weeks
Adoption price: $3,400
This boy has a calm and steady personality. He is not the type to constantly look for new things to explore or get into trouble. He is more relaxed, stable, and easygoing, but still very confident and brave. He should be a good fit for someone who likes a sweeter, calmer kitten rather than a super mischievous one.
Body score: 7/10

Available Retired Maine Coon Cat
We will have a 1.5-year-old retired girl available in about two months.
Her adoption fee is $1,700.
She is a very large and tall girl, currently around 14 lbs, and she may still gain another 3 to 6 lbs as she continues to mature. She has no health issues. The only reason she is retiring is that she is not really suited to being a mother, and she also prefers to be the “boss girl” in a group of cats.
She would be a great fit for someone who loves a big, confident Maine Coon girl with a nice personality
We won’t have any retired MALE cats available anytime soon.
If you’re interested, feel free to message me for more details.

Curious why more and more experienced cat lovers are choosing a “Retired Cat”?
They have stable, well-rounded temperaments, are past the overly mischievous stage, and have already been screened for genetic diseases during their breeding career.
Most retire between 2–4 years old yet can still share many many years of companionship with you—often not much different from getting a kitten.
Click to read my new blog post to discover the real life of retired cats, their personality advantages, and why they might just be your perfect companion.

Frequently Asked Questions Before Bringing Home a Maine Coon Kitten
What should I know about Maine Coon kittens before buying one?
Maine Coon kittens are known for their large size, sweet temperament, and people loving personality. They are usually playful, social, and affectionate, but they still need regular grooming, high quality food, routine vet care, and daily attention as they grow.
Before bringing home a Maine Coon kitten, it is helpful to understand their size, personality, grooming needs, and long term care. To learn more, you can visit our Maine Coon Blog, where we share helpful guides about Maine Coon care, cost, size, temperament, and what to expect before bringing a kitten home.
Where are you located, and do you offer delivery across the United States?
We are located in Riverside, California. Many families choose to pick up their kitten in person, and our kittens have joined families all across the United States.
We do not “ship” kittens like packages. When travel is needed, we are happy to help arrange transportation with a trusted pet nanny whenever possible. Delivery options depend on the kitten’s age, health, destination, and schedule.
How old are your Maine Coon kittens when they leave?
Our Maine Coon kittens usually leave around 13 to 14 weeks old, depending on their individual development, vet schedule, and recovery after spay or neuter surgery.
Do Maine Coons need a lot of space because they are large cats?
Maine Coons are large cats, but they do not necessarily need a huge house. What they need most is a safe, clean, comfortable home with enough room to move, climb, play, and rest.
Cat trees, scratching posts, window spots, and daily interaction are often more important than having a massive space. Many Maine Coons do very well in apartments or smaller homes as long as they have enough enrichment and attention from their family. Learn to Maine Coon Home Environment Guide about creating a comfortable setup for your kitten.
How are your Maine Coon kittens socialized?
Our Maine Coon kittens are raised in a home environment and handled from a young age. They grow up around normal household sounds, people, other cats, and daily interaction.
We also expose our Maine Coon kittens to different noises and supervised dog training, so they can become more confident and adaptable before joining their new families. Every kitten has their own personality, but our goal is to help them become friendly, stable, and comfortable with real family life.
Where can I find Maine Coon kittens for sale in California?
LMCoonCat is a CFA and TICA registered Maine Coon cattery/breeder located in California. We are also registered locally as a cat breeder and operate as a registered business in California.
We are one of the more active and recognized Maine Coon breeders in California, with kittens placed in homes throughout Southern California, Northern California, and beyond. Many of our families come from Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, the Bay Area, Las Vegas, Arizona, and even the Salt Lake City area.
