Maine Coon Kitten Pricing
Transparent Pricing for well-raised Manie Coon kittens
Our pricing is clear before a family reserves a kitten. LMCooNCat pricing is based on each kitten’s individual quality, color and temperament. This page explains our current pet kitten price ranges, what is included, how deposits work, and why some Maine Coon colors may cost more.
It is completely normal to compare prices when looking for a Maine Coon kitten, and I actually think families should do that. I just recommend comparing more than the number. Some breeders may list a lower price, but the kitten may not include the same level of veterinary care, vaccines, deworming, spay or neuter, microchip registration, health records, insurance, registration eligibility, or support after pickup. Health testing is also a very important part of comparing breeders.
Responsible Maine Coon breeders should be able to explain what testing has been done on their breeding cats, including DNA screening, heart echocardiograms, and hip evaluations. I also believe serious Maine Coon breeders should have real experience with recognized cat shows such as TICA or CFA, because cat shows help breeders understand the breed standard through licensed judges, not just personal preference. When comparing breeders, the question should not only be “who is cheaper,” but “what is included, how transparent is the breeder, how are the kittens raised, and which breeder feels like the best fit for my home.”

What is included in the kitten price?

Health, structure, and breed standard matter
Our breeding cats are screened through DNA testing, heart echocardiograms, and hip evaluations before being used in our program. We also have experience showing Maine Coons in recognized TICA and CFA cat shows, which helps us evaluate structure, type, temperament, and overall breed quality beyond personal preference.

A Few Important Notes
Clear policies help the process fair for every kitten and every family
1
Waitlist & Deposit
After your deposit is paid and 24 hours have passed, your spot on the waitlist is confirmed. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel for personal reasons after that time.
2
Why the Deposit Is Firm
Joining the waitlist places you ahead of others who are waiting. We receive new inquiries every day, and once a kitten is committed, we stop offering that kitten to other families. Because of that, we’re not able to refund deposits after 24 hours.
3
Breeding Rights
Breeding rights are only offered to established Maine Coon breeders who share our standards and breeding philosophy. We place only a very small number of breeding cats, usually through trusted breeder relationships or trade. Pet-quality cats are not sold with breeding rights.
